I think I have to confess and get this out of my system first. I freaking LOVE scones. Sweet or savory, I love them all. Every time I go to a new bakery or cafe, if they have scones, that’s the first thing I’d try. It’s something about the texture and light flavors that got me hooked.
These are my tried and tested sultana scones. Never fail to put a smile on my face.
This time around, I added some walnuts, just for kicks. And used brown sugar (instead of white) to add that little bit of flavor. Though you can’t really tell the difference, cause there’s not much sugar in this recipe.
