I’m starting to notice that I choose recipes based on how easy it is and how convenient it is for me. And this happens to be one of them.
A French toast that does not require you to whip out your frying pan or skillet. Or slowly soaking each bread in egg mixture. This recipe from Nestlé allows you to prepare everything one night ahead. Just top it up with the praline mixture the next morning, pop it in the oven, and you’re set!
I think I need more egg mixture next time, cause not all the bread is soaked all the way through. Even with that, they still taste awesome. The addition of nutmeg and cinnamon really give it a nice comforting sense. The walnut topping is so so good, I think I can eat it just by itself. Perfect breakfast food.
